Munich, Germany – April 7, 2025 – Bauma 2025, the world’s premier construction machinery trade fair, officially opened today under clear blue skies in Munich. SUNWARD made a striking appearance at booth FN618/10, showcasing an impressive lineup of 25 premium machines, including 12 brand-new models, with nearly 50% being electric-powered. This product matrix underscores SUNWARD’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customized solutions for the European market.

Electric Machines Lead the Charge in Sustainable Innovation
As electrification becomes a key strategic focus, SUNWARD unveiled a full range of electric excavators at Bauma, highlighting its forward-thinking approach to sustainable construction. The newly launched SWE10FE and SWE20FE models combine compact size with robust performance, making them ideal for urban and indoor projects thanks to zero emissions and ultra-low noise. The 6-ton SWE60UFE features superior energy efficiency and fast-charging capabilities, while the 24-ton SWE240FE has been fully upgraded to meet the demands of large-scale projects with modern aesthetics and powerful performance.

Expanding beyond excavators, SUNWARD also introduced a variety of electric aerial work platforms, including the SWA18JE-P, a new pure-electric rough-terrain articulating boom lift. Equipped with lithium batteries, four-wheel drive, and oscillating axles, it exemplifies the company’s green development philosophy: “Innovation-driven sustainable growth.”
"Our electric equipment balances high performance with environmental responsibility, setting a new standard for sustainable construction solutions," said a representative from SUNWARD’s European subsidiary.
Customized Foundation Equipment Makes Its Debut
Targeting the high-end European and American markets, SUNWARD debuted its PRO Series rotary drilling rigs, including the SWDM85SW, SWDM135S, and SWDM165S. With working depths ranging from 13 to 24 meters, these machines are designed with precision, reliability, and efficiency in mind, making them essential tools for infrastructure projects.

All featured machines are equipped with SUNWARD's in-house developed SUNWARD Cloud Platform, which utilizes intelligent IoT and cloud-based coordination to build a digital construction ecosystem, enabling a shift from experience-based to data-driven management.
Versatile Earthmoving Lineup Covers All Scenarios
Europe remains a core international market for SUNWARD excavators. At Bauma 2025, the company introduced a comprehensive lineup of 12 excavators ranging from 1 to 24 tons, addressing all types of construction environments.
The agile SWE08F micro-excavator, upgraded SWE20F-1 with a redesigned cab for improved operator comfort, and the highly mobile SWE155FW wheeled excavator are tailored for urban and infrastructure projects. Models such as SWE25UF, SWE35UF, and the all-new SWE50UF offer excellent accessibility for confined jobsites, while SWE90UF-2PB and SWE155UF-2PB deliver reliable solutions for complex indoor environments.
Also on display were compact wheel loaders SL06W and SL12W, ideal for material handling and site leveling, along with the SWL2830 skid-steer loader and SWTL4538 track loader, known for precision control, durability, and high productivity.

Aerial Equipment in Formation, Demonstrating Strength
Bauma 2025 also marked the world premiere of SUNWARD’s first Europe-customized telehandler – the SWTH3507. With impressive lifting capabilities and innovative design, the machine is well-suited for the demanding needs of construction and industrial applications.
Completing the aerial work platform lineup were electric models SWSL0807DC and SWSL1412DC for indoor and urban work, the SWSL2023RT rough-terrain scissor lift for challenging terrains, and the new SWA18JE-P and classic SWA16JE articulating boom lifts, showcasing SUNWARD’s leadership in aerial equipment innovation.

Advancing Globalization with Localized Commitment
Internationalization remains a core strategy for SUNWARD. During the exhibition, SUNWARD Chairman He Xiangdong visited Munich to gain firsthand insights into customer needs and market dynamics.
On opening day, Mr. He met with key industry leaders including Su Zimeng (Chairman of the China Construction Machinery Association), Wu Peiguo (Secretary-General), Li Jianyou (Vice Chairman), and Qijun (Honorary Chairman and Senior Advisor), as well as customers from Europe and South America. Association leaders acknowledged SUNWARD as one of the first Chinese manufacturers to export excavators to Europe and commended its innovation and global vision.
Europe remains a top priority for SUNWARD, where customers demand increasingly multifunctional equipment. To meet these expectations, SUNWARD has made substantial investments in R&D, after-sales service, and spare parts availability.
Since exporting its first excavators to Sweden in 2004, making its Bauma debut in 2007, and establishing a European subsidiary in 2015, SUNWARD has seen continuous growth. Today, the company boasts a robust European dealer network with over 150 partners, anchored by its modern headquarters in Thuin, Belgium, which houses a demo area, training center, and large parts warehouse to ensure localized service.

Beyond Europe, SUNWARD is also expanding across Africa and South America, building localized teams to maximize customer value and deliver high-performance machinery worldwide.
With continued innovation and global presence, more “SUNWARD Green” machines are set to play a vital role in infrastructure development around the world.
