On April 13, the week-long global construction machinery event—Bauma 2025—concluded successfully in Munich. Marking its return after a three-year hiatus, the exhibition attracted leading brands and tens of thousands of industry professionals from around the world, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations, and once again spotlighting the industry's peak moments.
As a prominent representative of China's construction equipment sector, SUNWARD Intelligent Equipment exhibited 25 high-end machines across three major categories: earthmoving equipment, foundation equipment, and aerial work platforms. Twelve of these were newly launched models, unveiled at outdoor booth FN618/10. The display attracted significant interest and heavy foot traffic, once again demonstrating the strong capabilities of "Made in China" on the world stage.
New Product Debuts Highlight Electrification and Intelligence
Among the highlights was the customized PRO series rotary drilling rig, which won praise from professional clients for its precision and efficiency. All three display units were ordered on-site. These rigs not only meet strict international emission standards—Euro 3, Euro 5, and Tier 4—but also offer convenient, low-cost transportation with drill rods attached, significantly improving jobsite mobility.
In the excavator section, a matrix of 12 machines drew large crowds. In addition to the best-selling UF series short-tail excavators, the next-generation electric excavators emerged as true crowd favorites. The SWE10FE and SWE60UFE models, with their zero emissions and ultra-low noise output, offer green solutions for urban construction and earned widespread customer recognition.
The aerial work platform area was equally lively. The new SWA18JE-P pure electric articulated boom lift, equipped with advanced lithium battery technology and four-wheel drive, was dubbed a "safety guardian" for high-altitude tasks. It drew immediate interest from clients in multiple countries on the first day alone.
One German customer remarked after a test drive, "SUNWARD’s equipment fully complies with European standards. The electrified models, in particular, offer a sustainable choice for our construction projects."
A SUNWARD representative added: "By showcasing our new electric models at this exhibition, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to promoting green technology and prove that Chinese-made electric products can rival—or even surpass—those of global brands."
To date, SUNWARD has launched over 80 electric models, covering a wide range of technology paths including plug-in, range-extended, and fully electric solutions.

Listening to Global Voices: “Rooted in China, Serving the World”
During the exhibition, Chairman He Qinghua led the SUNWARD team in engaging with clients from Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, gathering valuable feedback on product performance and service networks. The SUNWARD brand drew keen interest from multiple markets, with agents from countries such as Italy and Belgium signing partnership agreements on-site.
A Belgian distributor commented: “SUNWARD places great emphasis on both quality and after-sales service, which in my view is even more important than the sale itself. I believe SUNWARD has great potential to become a leading brand in its product categories.”
Chairman He emphasized that SUNWARD's international product strategy avoids a "one-size-fits-all"approach and instead focuses on specialization and excellence in niche markets. The company continues to advance its global strategy of"Rooted in China, Serving the World,"while deepening its localization efforts in key markets like Europe.
To meet the growing demand for efficient support services, SUNWARD has built a strong local network in Europe. Its 25,000-square-meter spare parts center in Belgium can fulfill 95% of local needs, ensuring rapid 24-hour response times. During the event, He also visited SUNWARD’s European subsidiary and stressed the importance of further strengthening localized service capabilities.

Looking Ahead: Join Us in May for CICEE 2025
Since its debut at Bauma in 2007, SUNWARD has continued to impress with its steady stream of innovations and growing global recognition. Bauma 2025 not only served as a platform for product display but also as a declaration of SUNWARD’s commitment to building a greener future with partners worldwide.
As Bauma 2025 comes to a close, SUNWARD’s momentum continues. Let’s meet again this May at the 2025 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) to witness SUNWARD’s next peak performance!
