Sunward Delivers First Pile driver to Taiwan Region for Taipei MRT Project

Recently, Sunward officially delivered its independently developed pile driver, model SWCH590-125M, to the Taiwan region. The equipment will be deployed in a key section of the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. This marks the first time Sunward's pile driver series has entered the Taiwan market, further validating the company's technological strength in complex geological construction.

The project requires drilling holes of 1 meter in diameter and up to 28 meters deep. To address Taiwan's challenging and variable ground conditions—particularly alternating soft and hard strata—the SWCH590-125M adopts the long auger, demonstrating excellent adaptability and high efficiency.

The pile driver features high performance, robust configuration, enhanced safety, intelligent controls, and modular versatility. It can be equipped with various attachments including long augers, hydraulic hammers, DTH hammers, and single/multi-axis mixing drills, enabling one machine to handle multiple applications and significantly improving construction flexibility.

A key innovation is Sunward's proprietary intelligent electronic control system. The system automatically executes the drilling process based on preset parameters. In soft ground, the power head operates at full speed for maximum efficiency. In hard strata, the system automatically adjusts the drilling speed in response to increased load while utilizing the power head's overload capacity. This smart control strategy ensures both high productivity and reduced equipment wear.
